Load Planner
Full-Time, Onsite, 1 YR contract+Extension
Pay Rate: $21~$25/hr l Work Hours: 08:00 AM-5:00 PM (Overtime maybe required.)
Job Description
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer relations.
Support the maintenance of SOPs and work instructions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and operational best practices.
Manage daily operations, including booking, tracking, and tracing cargo (FTL/LTL/AIR).
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire process, from booking to on-time cargo delivery.
Request quotes from carriers and negotiate spot rates.
Implement cost-effective operational solutions to improve efficiency, service levels, and quality.
Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
Maintain up-to-date account documentation, ensuring it is properly filed and readily accessible.
Strengthen customer relationships and increase business share through regular communication.
Monitor account issues and collaborate with management to develop and implement solutions.
Analyze service and cost data, making recommendations for process improvements when needed.
Generate and submit reports as required, including service failure reports, claim/damage reports, and others.
Ensure accurate data entry into Cello and other relevant systems.
Monitor industry trends and report changes to management for strategic action.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in FTL/LTL transportation dispatching or operations in the logistics industry required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer orientation with excellent negotiating skills.
Professional phone and email etiquette with both internal and external customers; strong customer service and people skills.
Experience with NAFTA/USMCA cross-border transportation preferred.
Bilingual in Korean/English or English/Spanish preferred.
Warehouse and/or manufacturing knowledge preferred.
