Load Planner

Full-Time, Onsite, 1 YR contract+Extension

Pay Rate: $21~$25/hr l Work Hours: 08:00 AM-5:00 PM (Overtime maybe required.)


Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer relations.

  • Support the maintenance of SOPs and work instructions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and operational best practices.

  • Manage daily operations, including booking, tracking, and tracing cargo (FTL/LTL/AIR).

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire process, from booking to on-time cargo delivery.

  • Request quotes from carriers and negotiate spot rates.

  • Implement cost-effective operational solutions to improve efficiency, service levels, and quality.

  • Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

  • Maintain up-to-date account documentation, ensuring it is properly filed and readily accessible.

  • Strengthen customer relationships and increase business share through regular communication.

  • Monitor account issues and collaborate with management to develop and implement solutions.

  • Analyze service and cost data, making recommendations for process improvements when needed.

  • Generate and submit reports as required, including service failure reports, claim/damage reports, and others.

  • Ensure accurate data entry into Cello and other relevant systems.

  • Monitor industry trends and report changes to management for strategic action.


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in FTL/LTL transportation dispatching or operations in the logistics industry required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer orientation with excellent negotiating skills.

  • Professional phone and email etiquette with both internal and external customers; strong customer service and people skills.

  • Experience with NAFTA/USMCA cross-border transportation preferred.

  • Bilingual in Korean/English or English/Spanish preferred.

  • Warehouse and/or manufacturing knowledge preferred.
